It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Design Contest WIN 4000 POINTS, 20$ AND MORE!I've wanted to hold a design contest for a long time now, and finally I've gathered enough points to do it :D

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long
The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

my dA membership expires tomorrow

Just a quickie to say I'll be moving on to 'ordinary' status if I don't renew my membership here before tomorrow, which isn't very likely to happen today.

I'll still be around, I'll still update Ziggy pictures :-) and other odds and ends, but I've honestly been spending less time here - life is busy and I love and enjoy everybody's wonderful art and look and sometimes comment, but I simply can't keep up with replying to everybody, even though I'd really love to.

Awwww, I hardly get that many faves and I can't even keep up with them, so I can't hardly imagine what it'd be like to get too many comments/replies/faves. -__- We understand don't worry. :glomp:

That's too bad but I do understand having limited time here myself. I try to read journals, look at deviations, and answer comments but can no longer thank everyone for favs. Just not enough hours in the day.

I understand you not wanting to pay for a sub if you're hardly on here but at least it's good to know you will still be around. To be honest I don't think a sub gives that many benfits anymore. :hug: :D

dont feel bad Irene..a good friend bought me a 3 month subscription 4 months ago as a gift when i was poor and had done some nice things to help her out..so as of jan 08 i re subscribed and am good until may 2010 but it still says that night-fate has paid my subscription until may 2010..so obviously professional book keeping services are a tad slow..I even sent them a copy of the pay apl receipt says I paid for my sub renewal but it still is coded in that night fate has paid for me until may LOL z geez ...but if you owe them that probably means all your journals will turn to : thumbwhatchmacallit : : thumby : and : pokey :
instead of appear as thumbs if you are 1 minute late renewing your sub
