My mind and the rest of me have parted company several weeks ago. I'm really not 'cracking it', so to speak.  My mum hovers between physical healing and mental decline.  She's in her high 90's and has lost the will to live... it's really draining on an emotional level, and physically also demands a huge lot of my time and is an endless financially headache, what with the Med Aid collapsing and huge accounts rolling in constantly.

Going out and taking photographs cheers me up temporarily in an introspective type of way - I find post-processing therapeutic, especially if I can listen to music in an attempt to clear my head while doing so.

On another note : I'll probably be off-line for most of this weekend, due to rearrangements of my desk and work-space.

I kind of went through what you are going through now with your Mother in the early 80s. It's very difficult.(My mother died at 63 when I was 30.) Be sure to find your own time to enjoy life's beautiful moments. They are always there waiting for you whenever you can take a minute or two. Take care.

Good luck. Watching a parent decline is a horrible thing to witness, been there, didn't like it. I wish you both the best.

Big hugs and I'm sorry you too had to suffer through it.
Thank you for your support; it's certainly an unpleasant state to be in.

Awwwwww, it is so sad. :( But you've had her for so long at least before he mental state got worse, yes? My grandma is in her early 80's and she already hardly remembers us. :( Its a sad thing.

I wish you all th best, and that God will help you all through this tough time. Many hugs from me!
