On Sunday 25th May it was the 2nd anniversary of my father's death. I went to spend time with my mother in Frail Care - she didn't know the significance of the day and I didn't remind her. She barely knows what year we're in, after all :tears:

After my visit, I spent some time walking along the beach. It was incongruous; I had left home in deep fog and drove with my headlights on even though it was midday. By the time I reached my destination, the sun was bright and there were families out on the beach.

On my way home I again encountered the thick fog and had my windscreen wipers and headlights on, just half an hour after taking this picture.
